Congratulations on your retirement! Below are tasks you should complete as soon as possible to help ensure your financial future is secure.
Checklist:
If you are approaching 65 or older, apply for your Medicare card.
Complete a Group Medicare Advantage and Dental Enrollment Form (if eligible.)
If you are younger than 65, ask your diocese about The Episcopal Church Medical Trust Health Plans.
Speak with a Medical Trust representative.
Remember to continue using the housing allowance exclusion for clergy (subject to IRS requirements) and other important tax information, including:
- 2025 CPF Form B
- IRS Withholding Forms At-A-Glance
- Form W-4P – Withholding Certificate for Periodic Pension or Annuity Payments (Federal Income Tax)
- State Equivalent – Withholding Certificate for Periodic Pension Distributions (State Income Tax)
- Form W-4R – Withholding Certificate for Nonperiodic Payments and Eligible Rollover Distributions (Federal Income Tax)
- State Equivalent – Withholding Certificate for Nonperiodic Pension Distributions (State Income Tax)
